Vincenzo Penagini with “Spirit of Falena” won the first stage of the Dinghy Classic circuit, while Massimo Schiavon came second with “Maxima”.
Pescara 4th/5th May, 2013
Massimo Schiavon with “Maxima” won the 2nd stage of the Dinghy Classic circuit. Vincenzo Penagini came 4th with “Molto Matto”.

“Spirit of Falena” skippered by Giorgio Pizzarello won the 2nd World Cup Championship.
Venezia from 1th to 4th june
The 2011 World Cup for Classic Dinghies was held at Venice 1-4th June with 65 competitors.
This is the second year running that a dinghy built by the COLOMBO LEOPOLDO boatyard won the World Cup, as at Bracciano in 2010 Vincenzo Penagini was the winner with the same boat, built in 2009.

From 7th to 10th june 2011 Marina di Scarlino
Winner of the Italian 12 P Dinghy Championship reserved for classic dinghies held in Marina di Scarlino from 7 to 10 June “Leon … Poldino” helmed by Paolo Viacava won the second title for the eleventh time, prevailing over 74 participants.
The champion raced for the first time with an entirely wooden Dinghy built by the Colombo Leopoldo Boatyard. It was since 1995 that a classic wooden hull had not won the tricolor title of the Dinghy, and even in that case the boat was built by the Leopoldo Colombo Boatyard.

The first World Cup Dinghy 12p for the Classic fleet was held at Bracciano from 15-18th July, 2010 and the winning dinghy “Spirit of Falena”, skippered by Vincenzo Penagini was built by our boatyard COLOMBO LEOPOLDO
Out of the first 10 boats 4 were built by us: 3rd place Marcello Coppola with “Adriana”, 8th place Ubaldo Bruni with “Fragamar II” and 9th place Fred Lachotzki with“Donna Maria”
55 dinghies competed in the championship with 17 crafts all produced by our boatyard.
